GCCA 2021 Virtual Spring Conference

Change is inevitable. As court administrators, we must continuously navigate an ever-changing sea of obstacles – a pandemic, technological advancements, budget shortfalls, social and cultural workplace concerns - and adapt in order to stay afloat.  How we as court administrators react and embrace change in these rough waters is critical.

Join us for “Waves of Change- How Courts Navigate Uncharted Waters,” March 16-17th, live streamed from the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia, as we hear from experts and colleagues in our field talk about effectively navigating and adapting to change. During this event we will discuss how COVID-19 has changed everything from juries, to court hearings, and even the way we use social media. We will also explore how to improve personal presence over new virtual platforms and how to manage social and cultural change in our workplaces and courtrooms.

At each conference, GCCA Cares chooses to support a nonprofit at the local conference site.  For the 2021 GCCA Virtual Spring Conference, GCCA Cares is supporting UGA HEROS.

HEROs is a student-run organization at UGA which works to improve the quality of life for children affected and infected by HIV/AIDS. Modern medicine allows kids affected or infected by HIV/AIDS to live long lives—HEROs takes it a step further to help these kids live healthy and successful lives. Our goal is to show kids that no matter their situation, they’re valuable and worthy of love just like anyone else. We do this by organizing over 2,000 students on campus, coordinating fundraising efforts, and working to forge relationships with corporate and community partners with a common goal in mind.

Please consider giving to UGA HEROS through GCCA Cares.  You can find out more about HEROS here.
