Help make a difference through GCCA Cares! GCCA Cares is an opportunity for our membership to give back to the communities that host our conferences. For the 2021 GCCA Virtual Spring Conference, we have chosen UGA HEROS. HEROs is a student-run organization at UGA which works to improve the quality of life for children affected and infected by HIV/AIDS. Modern medicine allows kids affected or infected by HIV/AIDS to live long lives—HEROs takes it a step further to help these kids live healthy and successful lives. Our goal is to show kids that no matter their situation, they’re valuable and worthy of love just like anyone else. We do this by organizing over 2,000 students on campus, coordinating fundraising efforts, and working to forge relationships with corporate and community partners with a common goal in mind. |
